As summer draws to a close, FanDuel TV will be live on-site on Thursday for the kickoff of the FanDuel Meet at Kentucky Downs which will boast some of the largest fields and biggest purses in the world. The ten-race opening day card, named FanDuel Day, will feature the $500,000 FanDuel Tapit Stakes.
FanDuel TV's Matt Carothers and Caton Bredar will be on-site for the ten-race opening day card with exclusive interviews, insights and analysis throughout the day and FanDuel TV and NBC Sports' Larry Collmus will reprise his role as the track announcer.
The $500,000 FanDuel Tapit Stakes has drawn a full field of twelve contenders with four waiting in the wings as also-eligible. Trainer Graham Motion will saddle two graded stakes winners, English Bee and Speaking Scout. English Bee will be ridden by Tyler Gaffalione and Speaking Scout will have Jareth Loveberry in the irons.
FanDuel is the title sponsor of the Meet at Kentucky Downs for the third consecutive year. Additional highlights of the popular meet include the $1.7 million FanDuel Kentucky Downs Cup Turf Cup (G2), on Sept. 9, a part of the Breeders' Cup Challenge Series and a “Win and You're In” race for the Breeders' Cup Turf (G1). After opening day, the seven-day, all turf meet will conduct racing on September 2,3,7,9,10 and 13.
In addition to racing from the FanDuel Meet at Kentucky Downs, FanDuel TV will also be featuring Del Mar, Gulfstream Park and more. Fans can tune in on TVG, TVG2 and the Watch TVG app which is available on Amazon Fire, Roku and connected Apple TV devices.
