FanDuel TV To Feature Live Coverage Of Every Race, Every Day At Del Mar

Opening Day at Del Mar is Friday, July 21, and FanDuel TV will be live on-site for each day of the prestigious meet with enhanced coverage, features and expert analysis. The weekend broadcast will also include the $1 million TVG.com Haskell Invitational (G1) on Saturday from Monmouth Park featuring the return of Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Mage.

FanDuel TV will have a full roster of experts on-site at Del Mar for opening weekend including Todd Schrupp, Simon Bray, Christina Blacker, Mike Joyce, Dave Weaver and Joaquin Jaime with exclusive interviews, insights and handicapping selections. Andie Biancone will be on horseback throughout the day reporting from on the track.

Fans will enjoy enhanced coverage which includes the utilization of drone technology as well as a behind-the-scenes look through a Jockey Cam utilized every day of the meet.

The meet will kick off at Del Mar with a ten-race card featuring large, contentious fields. The main event is the $100,000 Oceanside Stakes, a one-mile turf race for three-year-olds with a full field of fourteen contenders.

The coverage of Del Mar's meet will run through Labor Day and will include the FanDuel Racing Pacific Classic (G1) on September 2. The FanDuel Pacific Classic is a Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” Challenge race which will earn the winner an automatic berth into the Breeders' Cup which will be held at Santa Anita on November 3-4. The Pacific Classic is one of six Breeders' Cup Challenge races to be held at Del Mar alongside the Bing Crosby Stakes (G1) on July 29, the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes (G2) on August 5, the Pat O'Brien Handicap (G2) on August 26, the Del Mar Handicap (G2) on September 2 and the Green Flash Handicap (G3) on September 2.

There will be on-site coverage throughout the weekend at Monmouth Park leading up to the $1 million TVG.com Haskell Invitational on Saturday, July 22. FanDuel TV's Scott Hazelton, Larry Collmus, Matt Bernier, Caton Bredar, Ashley Mailloux and Rich Perloff will be reporting live from New Jersey with insights, interviews and analysis leading up to the marquee race for three-year-olds. The popular jockey cam technology will also be utilized throughout the card.

The TVG.com Haskell (G1) is the anchor of Monmouth's 14-race card which includes a total of six stakes races. Mage, the winner of the Kentucky Derby, has been installed at odds of 3-1 on the morning line in the eight horse-field for trainer Gustavo Delgado.His rivals include Arabian Knight, the 5-2 morning line favorite, who will be attempting to give trainer Bob Baffert his tenth Haskell winner and Tapit Trice, last seen finishing third in the Belmont Stakes (G1) for Todd Pletcher.
