FanDuel TV Announces Expanded Coverage Of 2023 Breeders’ Cup World Championships

As the countdown to the 40th Breeders' Cup World Championships on November 3-4 from Santa Anita begins, FanDuel TV is expanding its coverage of the event.

Pre-Entry

The pre-entry announcement show will showcase which runners are pre-entered into each Breeders' Cup Championship race and will air on Wednesday, October 25th at 9:00 a.m. PT/12:00 p.m. ET. The coverage will be hosted by Joaquin Jaime and Christina Blacker live from Santa Anita. Breeders' Cup will finalize the race order for both Friday and Saturday once pre-entries are complete.

Breakfast at the Breeders' Cup

The popular morning workout show “Breakfast at the Breeders' Cup” returns on Friday, October 27th on FanDuel TV and Breeders' Cup digital and social channels.

The show will run from Friday, October 27th through Thursday, November 2nd and air live on Breeders' Cup digital and social channels as well as on the FanDuel Racing channel from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET daily. It will feature contenders going through their final preparations as well as the latest news and developments. Todd Schrupp, Simon Bray, Caton Bredar, Michelle Yu, Rishi Persad, Scott Hazelton, Joaquin Jaime and Andie Biancone will be live on-site at Santa Anita, Keeneland and Churchill Downs to capture all the contenders.

A special recap will air daily on FanDuel TV from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. ET featuring highlights from the Breakfast Show as well as live hits from Santa Anita with Britney Eurton, Christina Blacker and Dubbs Anderson. Replays will be available on-demand on FanDuel+ and TVG's YouTube page.

Post Position Draw and Morning Line Announcement

The post-position draw will be held on Monday, October 30th and will air from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET. Todd Schrupp, Simon Bray, Mike Joyce and Andie Biancone will be on site with pre-coverage of the Breeders' Cup post-position draw which will be hosted by Nick Luck and Britney Eurton. The official morning line will be set by Jon White, the longtime oddsmaker at Santa Anita and Del Mar.

The Breeders' Cup Players' Show

FanDuel TV will broadcast The Players' Show, a live, wagering-focused telecast, on November 3 and 4 on FanDuel TV. Every Breeders' Cup race will air live on the Players' Show, with the exception of the Longines Breeders' Cup Classic. It will also be simulcast at tracks, simulcast centers and off-track betting venues around the world.

For the first time, Breeders' Cup is carding two of its championship races after the Longines Breeders' Cup Classic (post time 6:45 ET). FanDuel TV will be the exclusive linear broadcast partner for both races, the $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint and the $2 million Qatar Racing Breeders' Cup Sprint on the main track.
