The Three-Year-Old poll represents horses competing up and through the Triple Crown.
The Top Thoroughbred poll represents horses competing for Horse of the Year. The Top Thoroughbred Poll concludes on Tuesday, Nov. 7 following the Breeders' Cup World Championships.
Rankings on poll are on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-1 basis with first place votes in parentheses, 2023 record and total points. A-S: Age-Sex, Sex: C-colt, G-gelding, H-horse, F-filly, M-mare, R-ridgling.
The Grade 3 Coolmore Lexington Stakes was the only 3-year-old race offering qualifying points for the Kentucky Derby last week on a 20-8-6-4-2 basis to the top five finishers, and the winner, First Mission, didn't crack the top 10. There was only one minor change in the top 10, with G1 Santa Anita Derby runner-up Mandarin Hero slipping off the list and G1 Florida Derby runner-up Mage moving onto it.

There were two newcomers on the Top Thoroughbreds Poll this week, both winners of G1 races over the previous weekend.
Coming it at No. 5 is Clairiere, who defeated seventh-ranked Secret Oath in a thrilling renewal of the Apple Blossom Handicap at Oaklawn. Clairiere was previously ranked 19th.
The G1 Jenny Wiley at Keeneland was won by In Italian, who was making her 2023 debut and had been ranked 21st on the previous week's list.
