Brentley, the first foal out of champion mare Untapable, has been sold to begin his stud career at Haras Boucle in Peru during this year's Southern Hemisphere breeding season, the South American publication Turf Diario reports.
The 4-year-old son of Frankel raced five times over the turf in Texas, breaking his maiden in his fifth and final start going 1 1/16 miles at Lone Star Park.
Brentley raced as a homebred for Winchell Thoroughbreds, and he was trained by Steve Asmussen; the same connections that campaigned Untapable to the Eclipse Award for champion 3-year-old filly and a win in the Breeders' Cup Distaff in 2014.
The stallion's second dam is the Prized mare Fun House, who was named Broodmare of the Year in 2014, with a produce record that also includes Grade 1 winner Paddy O'Prado.
In addition to Brentley, Untapable has an unnamed 3-year-old colt by Frankel, and a yearling colt by Gun Runner.
