First Black Type Winner For Inns Of Court In The Blenheim
Tally Ho Stud's first-crop sire Inns Of Court (Ire) had an impressive 21 winners on the board prior to Monday's Listed Ballyhane Blenheim S. and one of them Megarry (Ire) became his first black-type winner in that six-furlong Fairyhouse contest. Off the mark at the fourth attempt over this trip at The Curragh last month, the Gavin Cromwell-trained €25,000 Goffs Sportsman's graduate had finished runner-up to another of the sire's progeny in the re-opposing Lia Fail (Ire) in a Navan conditions race Sept. 2.
Away smartly from the widest draw, the 9-1 shot was kept handy by Gary Carroll and mastered the 6-5 favourite Mansa Musa (Ire) (Ten Sovereigns {Ire}) a furlong out en route to a convincing 2 1/4-length success with Lia Fail another 1 1/4 lengths behind in third making it a one-three for the impactful son of Invincible Spirit (Ire).
“He's only coming, this lad,” Carroll said. “Inns Of Court didn't win until the very back-end himself. Every run he's been improving and he was very professional there today. I didn't make enough use of him the last day, I should have won. It was a good run, he's very honest and hopefully he'll step forward again. He'll get seven anyway, I'm not sure about a mile as he's not a slow horse.”

The winner is currently the last known foal out of Highest Praise (GB) (Acclamation {GB}), a daughter of the listed scorer Yarastar (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}) and granddaughter of the G1 Phoenix S. runner-up Yara (Ire) (Sri Pekan).

Three Wildcards Added to Arqana Arc Sale
Three wildcards have been added to the Arqana Arc Sale, which is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Saint-Cloud.
Divin Propos (Fr) (George Vancouver), who has placed in all eight career starts and was most recently third in the Listed Coupe de Marseille, will sell as lot 10. Zulu Warrior (Fr) (Saxon Warrior {Jpn}) (lot 30), who will be consigned by Andre Fabre, won the Listed Prix Turenne at Saint-Cloud earlier this month. The Nicholas Clement-trained Monapia (Fr) (Harry Angel {Ire}), who has won six of his eight starts this season, has been catalogued as lot 45.

Good Magic Colt Hammers For $700K During Book 4 Opener at Keeneland
The Keeneland September Sale moved into its second week of trade Monday and the first of two Book 4 sessions demonstrated that there are still plenty of orders to be filled. During the first hour of activity, a Gainesway-consigned son of the in-form Good Magic was knocked down to Donato Lanni, bidding on behalf of SF/Starlight/Madaket Stable, for $700,000. Foaled three days prior to last year's GI Kentucky Derby, the bay is out of Beauty Buzz (Bernardini), whose own dam Orchardof the Nile (Empire Maker) is a full-sister to the late Pioneerof the Nile. Hip 2009 was bred by Gary Broad's Walmac Farm, which acquired Beauty Buzz for $110,000 in foal to another Smart Strike-line stallion–namely Accelerate–at the 2020 Keeneland November Sale. Beauty Buzz delivered a colt by Walmac's Core Beliefs (Quality Road) this past May 8 and was most recently covered by the nursery's Pinehurst (Twirling Candy). SF and partners paid $775,000 for a son of Good Magic–Allanah (Scat Daddy) at this sale in 2021. Reincarnate won this year's GIII Sham S., most recently added the Los Alamitos Derby and was on the Santa Anita worktab Sept. 16, breezing six furlongs in 1:12.40 for Bob Baffert and is the 3-1 morning-line favorite for Saturday's GI Pennsylvania Derby.
