A colt by Arrogate (hip 489), who is a full-brother to multiple Grade I winner Cave Rock, will be heading to Japan after selling for $1.05 million to the bid of bloodstock agent Shingo Hashimoto of Northern Farm. The juvenile was consigned by Tom McCrocklin, who purchased him for a sale-topping $700,000 on behalf of Michael Sucher's Champion Equine at last summer's Fasig-Tipton New York-bred Yearling sale just days after Cave Rock's TDN Rising Star-worthy debut at Del Mar.
Just minutes after the seven-figure sale, McCrocklin was already looking ahead to more fireworks Tuesday in Ocala with a filly by the late Arrogate (hip 526) who worked in :20 4/5 last week.
