‘An Excellent Representation’: First Foal Is A Colt For Pleasant Acres Stallions’ Sweetontheladies

Pleasant Acres Stallions is excited to announce the arrival of the first foal by Sweetontheladies – a colt out of Spanish Fever (Spanish Steps x Joyous Fever, by Stormin Fever.)

“Sweetontheladies was a tenacious sprinter and is the only Twirling Candy stallion in Florida. We are excited to see the Candy Ride bloodline expand in our state and this first colt is an excellent representation,” said Joe Barbazon, owner of Pleasant Acres Stallions.

Pleasant Acres Stallions is also excited to announce that Sweetontheladies is participating in their Lifetime Breeding Rights Program. For every mare bred this season to Sweetontheladies – after foal is born and fee is paid – the breeder receives lifetime breeding rights with no management fees for the rest of his career.

Sweetontheladies is a multiple black type winner and multiple graded stakes placed athlete who finished in the top four in 21 races, including five graded stakes and eight black type races – beating top graded stakes winners X Y Jet (in the Sunshine Millions Sprint Stakes), Mr. Jordan (in both the Grade 3 Gulfstream Park Sprint Stakes and the G3 Smile Sprint Stakes), and Imperial Hint (in the Pelican Stakes.)

Sweetontheladies is by the track record setting Grade 1 winner Twirling Candy (Candy Ride / House of Danzing, by Chester House), and he is out of stakes-placed Whataclassybroad, by Yankee Gentleman.

Twirling Candy stands for $60,000 in Kentucky and has produced seven Grade 1 winners and 30 black type winners to date. He currently has $41,067,102 in progeny earnings with $88,507 average earnings per runner. Sweetontheladies is only one of three sons of Twirling Candy standing in North America.
