The second Book 2 session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale was nearing its conclusion Thursday evening when a Stonestreet-bred daughter of Into Mischief out of Teen Pauline (Tapit) became the fifth of her sire’s current crop of yearlings to breach the seven-figure threshold at Keeneland. Consigned by Kitty Taylor’s Warrendale Sales on behalf of the breeder, hip 1203 fetched an even $1 million from Peter Leidel, who was bidding by phone. The Apr. 21 foal is the fourth foal from her dam, winner of the GII Top Flight H. and third in the GI Spinaway S. Teen Pauline is already the dam of Cambria (Speightstown), who beat the boys in the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Turf Sprint in 2019. Through Eaton Sales, Stonestreet sold the presumptive sales-topping colt by Tapit out of Tara’s Tango (Unbridled’s Song).
