Vic Stauffer, track announcer at Oaklawn in Hot Springs, Ark., and a successful handicapping tournament player, is raising money for the Arkansas Racetrack Chaplaincy through the sale of his detailed trip notes from film reviews of previous races for starters in every Breeders' Cup race Nov. 4-5.
Stauffer has relied on trip notes from film reviews for his own handicapping, including the Breeders' Cup Betting Championship, but is making his notes available to the public for the first time.
The film review notes are available at www.vicstauffer.com, where there is a link to the Arkansas Racetrack Chaplaincy. Stauffer states that the film review notes are available to everyone, but “if you download them and use them in your handicapping process, I humbly ask that you make a $75 donation to the Arkansas Racetrack Chaplaincy.” A link is provided to the Chaplaincy website to make a tax-deductible donation.
“The dedicated people from the Chaplaincy not only help racetrackers but everyone who's in need in Arkansas,” Stauffer said.
