Always happy taking a lead in third, the 3-1 shot was sent to the front by Gregory Benoist two out and had enough energy to run away from the whip en route to a comfortable 3/4-of-a-length verdict over TDN Rising Star Lassaut (Fr) (Almanzor {Fr}), with True Testament (Ire) (Siyouni {Fr}) a length behind in third. The May 29 G1 Tokyo Yushun hero and 19-10 favourite Do Deuce (Jpn) (Heart's Cry {Jpn}) could only manage fourth, a further two lengths away.
