Mandatory Payout In Saturday’s Santa Anita Rainbow 6; Field Size Averages 9.5 Runners

With no single ticket winner on Friday and a mandatory payout carryover of $395,500 into Saturday's 20-cent Rainbow Pick 6 Jackpot, Santa Anita track officials project Saturday's total Rainbow 6 pool could exceed $4 million.

Saturday's Rainbow Pick 6 at the Arcadia, Calif., track will be comprised of races four through nine and with first post time set at 1 p.m. PT, assigned post time for Saturday's fourth race is 2:35 p.m. PT.

With 57 horses entered to run in Saturday's Rainbow 6 sequence, average field size stands at 9.5 runners per race.

Saturday's main event is the $100,000 Irish O'Brien Stakes, which has been carded as the eighth race.  Nick Alexander's undefeated Becca Taylor is the 4-5 morning line favorite with leading man Flavien Prat set to ride for trainer Steve Miyadi.

Saturday's entries, with complete morning line information, are available at santaanita.com.
