California stallion Ministers Wild Cat, a mainstay at Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, has been pensioned at the age of 22, the farm announced on Wednesday.
Ministers Wild Cat, by Deputy Minister and out of the Kris S. mare and Breeders' Cup Distaff winner Hollywood Wildcat, is a sibling to champion sire War Front and was a multiple stakes winner for breeders Marjorie and Irving Cowan. He entered stud at Tommy Town in 2006.
His 14 crops to race earned more than $24 million with more than 20 black-type winners, including graded winners Doinghardtimeagain, who earned $734, 304, and eventual sire Tiz A Minster, as well as current runners Fly to Mars and Minister of Soul.
