The Starspangledbanner half-sister to recent Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Alcohol Free and the Sea the Stars half-brother to Group 2 Prix Corrida winner Ambition, out of 2013 Oaks winner Talent, look to be amongst the highlights of the catalog which features own- or half-brothers and sisters to 37 group and listed winners including five Group 1/classic winners.
Buyers looking for yearlings eligible for the valuable Tattersalls bonus schemes and races will not be short of choice, with the catalog featuring 13 yearlings eligible for the lucrative £20,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus Scheme and a further 12 eligible for the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes. Fillies eligible for the Great British Bonus also look likely to attract attention and
Seven of the current top 10 British and Irish sires have yearlings catalogued including Kingman, whose single offering is a colt out of Group 3 winner Lacarolina, Dark Angel, Kodiac, Lope de Vega, Pivotal, Sa the Stars, and Zoffany, who have a total of 22 yearlings cataloged between them.
Other proven Group 1 sires with progeny in the sale include Acclamation, Australia, Camelot, Dandy Man, Exceed and Excel, Farhh, Fastnet Rock, Mehmas, Nathaniel, New Approach, No Nay NEver, OAsis Dream, Sea The Moon, and Showcasing.
There are plenty of yearlings on offer from exciting young sires with either one or two crops of racing age including Belardo, Gleneagles, Golden Horn, Muharrar, Night of Thunder, Pride of Dubai, Territories, and Twilight Son, as well as Group 1 and classic-winning first crop yearling sires Aclaim, Caravaggio, Churchill, Decorated Knight, Galileo Gold, Highland Reel, Postponed, Profitable, Ribchester, and Zarak.
The largest consignment comes from The Castlebridge Consignment with 22 yearlings, followed by Baroda Stud with six and Culworth Grounds Farm, Jamie Railton, Meon Valley Stud and New England Stud, all of whom are consigning five yearlings.
