Another year’s gone by, and the transformation of Kentucky Downs from a quaint countryside turf-only track straddling the Kentucky-Tennessee state line into a regional gaming mecca is complete. This time 12 months ago, a state-of-the-art Vegas-style sports book had just opened, along with a brand-new, plush simulcasting area in the Mint Gaming Hall main building.
