FanDuel TV will be live, on-site every race day at Churchill Downs with exclusive coverage of the track's September Meet, the first time the network will provide this coverage as part of the FanDuel Group's broadcast rights and sponsorship agreement with Churchill Downs, Inc. (CDI) announced last year.
The 14-day race meeting opens with a twilight card on Sept. 14 and runs through Oct. 1. The meet will feature a dozen stakes races including the Grade 3 Iroquois for 2-year-olds on Sept. 17, the official start of the Road To The Kentucky Derby, and the Grade 3 Ack Ack Stakes on Sept. 30, part of the Breeders' Cup Challenge series and a “Win and You're In” race for the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.
“We are very excited about our coverage of the Churchill Downs Fall Meet and continuing our partnership with CDI,” said Kevin Grigsby, FanDuel TV executive producer. “In addition to blanket coverage of the meet, we will put the promotional power of the FanDuel brand behind our coverage, including special offers for FanDuel Racing customers.”
FanDuel TV's Todd Schrupp, Caton Bredar, Caleb Keller, Andie Biancone, Gabby Gaudet, Mike Joyce and Larry Collmus will be on site during the meet with exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes coverage and expert analysis. FanDuel TV will also provide drone coverage along with the popular Jockey Cam for the entire September Meet.
Kentucky residents can pre-register now for a FanDuel Sportsbook account and online betting starts Sept. 28 in Kentucky. FanDuel Sportsbook customers in Kentucky will be able to access wagering on Churchill Downs races via a single account.
