Old Friends Auctioning Silver Charm Halter To Benefit Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare

Old Friends, the Thoroughbred retirement facility in Georgetown, Ky., is auctioning off a halter worn by Silver Charm, the 1997 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, and will be donating all proceeds to Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare.

CTA is one of our sister organizations within the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance. The organization recently announced they need help. Currently, they can no longer accept additional horses due to depleted funds for quarantine and transportation, and they only have enough financial resources to provide for the necessities of their current equine residents for the next 45 days.

We want to help, so we are auctioning this Silver Charm halter with all proceeds being donated to CTA.

The deadline for bidding on this halter is this Sunday night, Aug. 13, 2023, 8 p.m.

To bid, click here.

Thank you!
