Hall Of Fame, Three Other Saratoga Races Cancelled Friday After Severe Storm

Due to severe thunderstorms and torrential rain impacting the Saratoga region, the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) canceled the final four races of Friday's card at Saratoga Race Course, including the co-featured Grade 2, $500,000 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame, a one-mile inner turf test for sophomores.

The Hall of Fame has been re-scheduled for Friday, Aug. 11, with entries to be drawn on Sunday, Aug. 6.

Live racing resumes Saturday with a blockbuster 12-race program highlighted by the Grade 1, $1 million Whitney in Race 10.

In addition to the Whitney, Saturday's card will offer the Grade 1 Saratoga Derby in Race 9, the Grade 1, $500,000 Test in Race 8 and the $135,000 Lure in Race 7. First post is 12:35 p.m. Eastern.
