Gold Shines Brightest At Arqana Online Sale
A select catalogue for the Arqana Online January Sale was topped by dual winner Gypsy Gold (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}) (lot 6) who was knocked down to Ibrahim Araci of Old Mill Stud for €280,000.
Consigned by Haras de Saint Pari, the filly-out-of-training is out of the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and G1 Prix de Diane-placed Glorious Sight (Ire) (Singspiel {Ire}). The 4-year-old is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Glycon (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}) and a full-sibling to the stakes-placed Glaer (GB) (Siyouni {Fr}).
There were also four lots marked as sold from the Haras des Coudraies consignment, with that operation in the process of downsizing. Tops of the foursome was Korliska (Fr) (Saint Des Saints {Fr}) (lot 2), who joined the Haras du Berlais fold for €72,000. She is a full-sister to multiple group winner and Group 1-placed Kobrouk (Fr) (Saint Des Saints {Fr}). Haras de Chantemerle snapped up fellow Coudraies draft member Kapkine (Fr) (Kapgarde {Fr}) (lot 4) for €41,000. She is in foal to Masked Marvel (GB).
Breeding rights in both Victor Ludorum (GB) (lot 9) and Latrobe (Ire) (lot 11) sold for €21,000 and €16,000, respectively. The former was picked up by Oliver St Lawrence, while Guy Petit struck for the latter.

Kentucky Derby Museum Releases Tickets For 2024 Derby Season Tours
Tickets are now on sale for the Kentucky Derby Museum's exclusive 2024 Derby Season tours and special events, marking the countdown to the 150th Kentucky Derby®–only 100 days away as of Thursday, Jan. 25. The Museum will be hosting special backside tours and Derby events along with opening new exhibits leading up to the first Saturday in May.
