Gleneagles Newcomer Wins The Goffs Million

Prepared for a debut of extra significance by Paddy Twomey, the Connolly Racing Syndicate's One Look (Ire) (Gleneagles {Ire}) stormed to a six-length success in The Curragh's Goffs Million on Saturday to cap a red-letter day for the stable. Well-supported into 5-1 second favouritism, the €65,000 Goffs Orby graduate waited towards the back early under Billy Lee. Sent forward as the even-money favourite Cherry Blossom (Ire) (No Nay Never) made her move passing two out, she swamped that rival at the furlong pole and powered clear for an emphatic introduction.

No Nay Never’s Array Wins The Mill Reef

Third in the G3 Sirenia S. earlier this month, Juddmonte's Array (Ire) (No Nay Never–Joyeuse {GB}, by Oasis Dream {GB}) put that experience to full use by garnering Newbury's G2 Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef S. on Saturday. Always near the fore, the Andrew Balding-trained 7-4 favourite was committed by Oisin Murphy passing two out and had to scrap late to ward off Mister Sketch (GB) (Territories {Ire}) and score by half a length, with Seven Questions (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}) a short head away in third.
