SW Romina Power Added to Arqana Pop-Up Sale

Recent listed winner Romina Power (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}–Rockatella {Ire}, by Rock Of Gibraltar {Ire}) will be on offer for the June 13 Arqana Online Pop-Up Sale. A winner of the May 20 Diana Trial at Baden-Baden in her latest start, she will be sold with an entry in the G1 Prix de Diane June 18. Campaigned by Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Stables, the 3-year-old will be offered as Lot 1 by Rennstall Michael Figge.

She is from the family of Group 1 victor Lyric of Light and group winners Leebaz, Polish Knight, Zebrowski, Euro Angel and Zeyaadah.

TERF Research Grants Due June 30

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation's (TERF) application for research grants is due Jun. 30. For information regarding the grant award program, learn more about the Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation and/or to donate please visit the TERF website.

TERF primarily aims to support students in pursuit of education in equine industry careers and to fund research efforts which better the life of the Thoroughbred racehorse. Awards will be considered for qualified federally tax exempt 501(c)(3) organizations.

Auctav Launches Exclusively Flat Sale

Auctav will host its sale of foals, yearlings, broodmares, and horses in training at Haras de Bois Roussel Oct. 14, with inspections taking place Oct. 12-13.

The exclusively Flat sale auction will be held both on site and online.

“Thanks to our installation at Bois Roussel, we can expand our ambitions and provide optimized conditions for hosting horses,” Arnaud Angéliaume, CEO of Auctav, said. “Our first visitors were so impressed that it quickly became evident to establish this new sale for flat horses. We are delighted to have met their requirements, and we are excited about hosting this sale. Only 100 lots will be offered in the catalogue, and we have already made a rich selection from sellers who have encouraged and supported Auctav in this new option for participants in flat racing in France.”
