Sic-Bo; Basic Rules

Sic-Bo, is a simple to understand but the bets are difficult to remember. You play Sic-Bo with 3 die which are rolled by the player. The game is very similar to roulette in the manner of betting because you have to make a prediction on the outcome of the dice roll. Before you roll you make a prediction on the outcome of the die. These predictions can be a combination of different numbers on the die or a variety of other outcomes which all offer different levels of difficulty to win.

There are seven different kinds of bets that can be made in Sic-Bo which will be the next topic of the guide.

Bets:

1. Single bet – (located on the bottom left of the board) – Predict that any of the die will land on any number from 1 to 6. if one dice does land on the number you predicted you win 1:1. if 2 die land on the number you predicted you win 2:1. Finally if all 3 die land on that 1 number you win 3:1.House advantage on this bet is close to 8%.

2. Two Die Bet- (located in the center on the bottom of the board.) – Predict that any 2 of the die will land on a 2 number combination that you must choose. The third dice has no effect on the game of the other 2 land on the number you choose. You win a payoff of 6:1. House advantage on this bet is close to 17%.

3. Three of A Kind – (located on the top in the center of the board) – Predict that all 3 die will land on the same number; any number of your choice. You win a payoff of 24:1. The House advantage on this bet is close to 30%.

4. Total of Three Die Bet- (located in the center of the board going vertically as a row of number from 4-17) – Predict that the total of the three die sum up to a number from 4-17(,3,and 18 is not included because they odds win a different bet with a much higher payout). You win a payoff which varies from 6:1 all the way to 60:1. If you choose a total of 10 or 11 you have the lowest payout of
6:1 with a house edge of only 12.5%. If you choose a total of 9 or 12 the payout is 6:1 with a house edge of 18%. If you choose a total of 8 or 13 the payout is 8:1 with a house edge of 12.5%. If you choose a total of 7 or 14 the payout is 12:1 with a house edge of 9.7%. If you choose a total of 6 or 15 the payout is 17:1 with a house edge of 16.5%. If you choose a total of 5 or 16 the payout is 30:1 with a house edge of 13.2%. If you choose a total of 4 or 17 the payout is 60:1 and the house edge is 15%.

5. Small or big Bet – (located on the top on each the left and right side || 2 different bets) Predict that the total of the 3 die will total a variety of numbers. This bet has a very high chance of winning because you have about a 50/50 chance of getting the die to total the amounts that you choose. The “small” bet is when you predict that the die will total any number from 4-10. the “big” bet is when you predict that the die will total 11-17. You win a payoff of 1:1. House advantage on this bet is close to 2.7%.

6. Triple – (located on the top in the center of the board ) – Predict that all 3 die will land on a single number. The chances against you getting all 3 die to land on the number you choose is 215:1. You win a payoff of 180:1. House advantage on this bet is close to 30%.

7. pair – (located on the top of the board on split in the middle by the triple bets) Predict that 2 of the die will land on a single number that you choose. You win a payoff of 8:1. House advantage on this bet is close to 33%.

There is a little cheat so you don’t have to memorize all of these. That secret is the board. I know that’s not really a secret but it is true that the board has all the information that you need to choose your bets. Despite that, you still need to know the risks involved in each bet. Sic-Bo is a very fun game with a lot of excitement and a high risk of winning.

Kerrin McEvoy Back In European Classic Action

Classic-winning jockey Kerrin McEvoy is making the most of his week-long trip to Europe by riding in the Shergar Cup on Saturday followed by the G1 Preis de Diana in Dusseldorf on Sunday.

A treble winner of the Melbourne Cup, McEvoy joins Christophe Lemaire, Takeshi Yokoyama and Jason Collett on the Rest of the World team for Saturday's unique fixture at Ascot, which welcomes back McEvoy's former Godolphin colleague Frankie Dettori to the Shergar Cup for the first time in six years.

The Australian spent four years riding in Britain, predominantly for Saeed Bin Suroor, from 2004, during which time he won the St Leger on Rule Of Law, as well as the G1 St James's Palace S. on Shamardal and the G1 Prix Jacques Le Marois aboard Dubawi (Ire). His most recent big-race success in his home country came in May in the G1 Doomben Cup when riding Huetor (Fr) for Peter and Paul Snowden.

The rider confirmed by text message as he was about to board a flight from Sydney to the UK on Monday that he will also return to European Classic action on Sunday when he takes the ride in the German Oaks equivalent on Toskana Belle (Fr) for Andreas Wohler. The German trainer previously teamed up with the owners of the filly, Australian Bloodstock, to win the 2014 Melbourne Cup with Protectionist (Ger), who sired Sunday's G1 Grosser Dallmayr Preis-Bayerisches Zuchtrennen runner-up Amazing Grace (Ger).

Toskana Belle, a daughter of Shamalgan (Fr) was third in the G3 Diana Trial after winning the Listed Henkel-Stutenpreis at Dusseldorf in May. She is currently around 14/1 for the Preis der Diana, with the Aidan O'Brien-trained Toy (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) co-favourite with Gestut Schlenderhan's Mountaha (Ger) (Giuliani {Ger}) at 9/2.
