Game Winner’s First Foal A ‘Well Balanced, Leggy, Strapping Filly’

Champion 2-year-old Game Winner's first foal arrived on Jan. 16, 2022, at Machmer Hall in Paris, Ky. The filly, out of Desire Street (Congrats – Tabarin, by El Prado (IRE)) was bred by Machmer Hall, and born just before midnight on Sunday. She was described by Carrie Brogden as a “well balanced, leggy, strapping filly with a great hind leg.”

Brogden continued, “We have already booked a dozen client and Machmer Hall mares back to him, so this baby certainly helps to justify that faith in this juvenile champion son of Candy Ride (ARG).”

Game Winner's anticipated first foals are arriving this year and the stallion has already seen impressive sales results with his first mares in foal selling up to $725,000 at Keeneland November. He had an average of over $166,000, making him the highest price for first-crop sires.

During his championship season, Game Winner remained unbeaten with victories in the G1 Del Mar Futurity, G1 American Pharoah Stakes and G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile.

Game Winner stands for $30,000 at Lane's End in Versailles, Ky.
