This year we are thrilled to recognize a Rookie of the Year for the north and the south.”

Katayama races under TAK Racing and has horses with trainer Jonathan Wong. He was introduced to the business by his grandfather. Rodrigues became a licensed owner for the first time in 2022 after watching her husband in a syndicate for more than a decade.
