Who's Hot: Leading rider Luis Saez was victorious on his first four mounts on Friday's program, sweeping the first three races Golden Isle ($4.40) in Race 1, Boldness ($3) in Race 2 and Reconfigure ($6.40) in Race 3 before taking a race off and coming back to win Race 5 aboard Take Charge Ro ($3) in Race 5.

Emisael Jaramillo notched back-to-back wins aboard Big Daddy Dave ($3.20) in Race 8 and Fish Mooney ($15) in Race 9.

Live Oak Plantation homebred Quality Review ($8.60) was one of four horses live to take down the jackpot heading into the 10th race finale, edging School Dance by a half-length to complete the winning 3-5-3-4-4-1 combination.

Todd Pletcher-trained Fearless, who captured the Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Mile last winter, is scheduled to come off a six-month layoff in the Miami Gardens. Rated as the 1-2 favorite in the morning line, the Repole Stable's 5-year-old son of Ghostzapper followed up his Gulfstream Park Mile score with a close second in the G2 Oaklawn Handicap and a third in the G3 Pimlico Special before going to the sidelines. Steve Budhoo-trained Eye of a Jedi, who captured the G3 Ghostzapper during the Championship Meet, and Saffie Joseph Jr.-trained Girolamo's Attack, who captured the Oct. 27 Miami Beach Handicap, will challenge Fearless.

Joseph Jr.-trained Queen Nekia, also a graded-stakes winner during the Championship Meet, is scheduled to return from a three-month layoff in the Opa-Locka. The 6-year-old daughter of Harlington, who captured the G3 Royal Delta at Gulfstream, went on to finish fourth in the G1 Ogden Phipps at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and third in the G2 Delaware Handicap in Wilmington, Del.

Gulfstream host and analyst Ron Nicoletti says to use a couple 6-1 shots, both ridden by Chantal Sutherland, and not to forget Riveting Spirit in the final leg.

A 'spread' race kicks of the sequence in Race 5, a mile-and-70-yard route for $20,000 claiming fillies and mares on Tapeta.

A full field of 12 juvenile fillies has been entered in Race 6, a six-furlong sprint at six furlongs for $50,000 maiden claimers, including eight first-time starters. Joe Orseno-trained Keen Kingdom, a daughter of Animal Kingdom, is a debuting half-sister to a Grade 2 stakes winner on turf. Saffie Joseph Jr.-trained Illogical Love, a daughter of Classic Empire, is also scheduled to debut.

A well-balanced field of fillies and mares has been assembled for Race 7, a 1 1/16-mile route over the all-weather track for $20,000 claimers. Gerald Brooks-trained Midnight Bella, a two-time winner over Presque Isle's Tapeta course in September; Little Bit Good, who makes her first start for dangerous off-the-claimer trainer Gilberto Zerpa; Anthony Margotta Jr.-trained Diamond Play, who hasn't been off the board in her last seven starts; and Elizabeth Dobles-trained Pearlescent, who rolled to a nine-length win in her Tapeta debut against weaker last time out; all figured to be well represented on many handicappers' tickets.

Race 8, a mile event for $6250 claimers on the main track, will likely provide a stern handicapping test for Rainbow 6 bettors. Peter Walder-trained Mr. Tito's, who won first off the claim at the same level last time out; Herbert Miller-trained Doctor D J, who was just a neck behind Mr. Tito's; and Mark Casse-trained Kramden, dropping down while switching to dirt, over which he has finished first and second in three outings; figure to be included on many tickets.

David Fawkes-trained Riveting Spirit will seek a repeat victory in the Race 9 feature, a 1 1/16-mile starter optional claiming allowance for fillies and mares on Tapeta. Riveting Spirit, who has a win and a second-place finish on Tapeta, is a half-sister to multiple-stakes winner Noble Drama. The 4-year-old Florida-bred filly is out of Queen Drama, a half-sister to Big Drama, the Eclipse Award-winning sprint champion, and a full sister to Sheer Drama, a multiple Grade 1-stakes winner. Carlos David-trained Centsless Drama, an ultra-consistent daughter of Big Drama; and Ralph Nicks-trained Katz a Dream, who beat slightly weaker while romping to victory in her Tapeta debut; are rated first and second, respectively, in the morning-line.

Jane Cibelli-trained Flowmotion, a hard-hitting turf veteran with back success on Tapeta, is among the strongest contenders in Race 10. The mile-and-70-yard route on Tapeta for $12,500 claimers may well be viewed as another 'spread' race by bettors looking for multiple chances should they be alive into the last race.

First-race post time for Saturday's 10-race program is set for 12:30 p.m.

The Rainbow 6 sequence kicks off with a $35,000 maiden claiming event for 2-year-old state breds with a 2-1 favorite in Full of Attitude. The sixth race is a maiden special weight event at a mile and 70 yards on the Tapeta for 2-year-old filly state breds. The seven-horse field includes Hotter Than July, a first-time starter and son of Practical Joke trained by Mark Casse, and Ticket to Heaven, a first-time starter for leading trainer Saffie Joseph Jr.

The eighth and ninth races also feature 2-year-olds on the Tapeta.

Along with the Rainbow 6 guarantee, there will also be a Super Hi-5 carryover into the first race of $2,892.09.

Jockey Chantal Sutherland had her sixth consecutive multi-win day Thursday when she rode the winners of the fourth and eighth races. Sutherland is now six behind leading jockey Edgard Zayas. The 5 ½-furlong sprint for 2-year-old fillies will be highlighted in the Rainbow 6 sequence, which will span Races 4-9. The jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $300,000 Sunday at Gulfstream Park, where the popular multi-race wager went unsolved Saturday for the 11th racing day following a $461,035.47 jackpot payoff Oct. 9.

Last Leaf has an experience edge over her five rivals, having won three of six starts while demonstrating the versatility to win on both dirt and turf. The daughter of Not This Time, who broke her maiden on a fast main track in her second career start, will seek her third straight victory Sunday. She ran away with a six-furlong optional claiming allowance by 10 ¾ lengths over a sealed sloppy track Sept. 4 before scoring a narrow victory in the five-furlong Hollywood Beach on turf three weeks later.

“I asked for this race,” trainer Ronald Spatz said. “It will be fun to find out if she can win on four different surfaces. She's won on dirt, a sloppy track, and turf.”

Miguel Vasquez has the return mount.

“She's a nice little filly. She's got little feet; she's blocky; and she runs hard,” Spatz said. “She's a good little sprinter.”

Trainer Michael Stidham, who will maintain a division at Gulfstream for the first time during the Championship Meet, will be represented by Godolphin's Kit Keller, who is coming off a debut victory in a five-furlong maiden special weight race on turf at Laurel Sept. 9.

Edgard Zayas has the call on the homebred daughter of Ghostzapper.
