<p>The dark bay or brown colt, who breezed an eighth in :10 flat at Sunday's under tack session, is out of Tizacity, by Tizway, a daughter of stakes winner Vindy City.</p>
<ul>
<li>Hip No. 724, a son of <a href="http://www.spendthriftfarm.com/horses/malibu-moon-515.html" class="blue-link">Malibu Moon</a> consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent, was sold to Carolyn Wilson for $260,000. The bay colt, who worked an under tack quarter in :21 1/5 on Friday, is a half-brother to graded stakes winner Keen Pauline out of Grand Pauline, by Two Punch.</li>
<li>Hip No. 983, a son of <a href="http://www.sequelnewyork.com/laoban/" class="blue-link">Laoban</a> consigned by Coastal Equine LLC (Jesse Hoppel), Agent, who sped the Sunday under tack session's fastest eighth in :9 4/5, went to Steven W. Young, Agent, for $255,000. The bay colt is out of One Look, by Henny Hughes, a half-sister to graded stakes placed Before You Know It.</li>

Consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent, the dark bay or brown colt is out of Impetuous Youth, by <a href="https://www.lanesend.com/candyride" class="blue-link">Candy Ride</a> (ARG), a daughter of Grade 1 winner I Believe in You.</li>
<li>Hip No. 859, a daughter of Anchor Down consigned by Julie Davies LLC, Agent, was sold to Down Neck Stables LLC for $200,000. The gray or roan filly, who breezed an eighth on Friday in :10 flat, is a half-sister to graded stakes placed current 3-year-old <a href="http://www.obssales.com/" class="blue-link">OBS</a> graduate Dream Marie, second in the recent Delaware Oaks (G3), out of Lin Marie, by Curlin, a daughter of stakes winner Coy Cat.</li>
</ul>
<p>For the session, 179 2-year-olds sold for a total of $6,396,700, compared with 186 grossing $7,510,100 at last year's third session. The average was $35,736, compared with $40,377 a year ago, while the median price was $15,000, compared to $17,000 in 2019. The buyback percentage was 18.3 percent; it was 15.8 percent last year.</p>
<p>Four older horses sold for $42,000 compared to nine bringing $69,200 in 2019.</p>
<p>For the entire sale, 517 2-year-olds sold for $15,830,800 compared with 615 horses grossing $21,349,300 a year ago. The average was $30,621, compared to $34,714 a year while the median price was $13,000 compared with $17,000 in 2019. The buyback percentage was 20.5 percent; it was 18.7 percent last year.</p>
<p>Next on the OBS agenda is the October Sale, set for Oct. 13 through Oct. 15, featuring Yearlings, 2-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age.</p>

The bay colt is out of All About Ju Ju, by <a href="http://www.spendthriftfarm.com/horses/into-mischief-464.html" class="blue-link">Into Mischief</a>, a half-sister to stakes placed Gregorian Bay.</li>

<li>Hip No. 427, a daughter of Uncle Mo consigned by Gayle Woods, Agent, who breezed three-eighths in :34 2/5 on Wednesday, was purchased by Randy Bradshaw, Agent, for $150,000. The bay filly is out of Bama Belle, by Giant's Causeway, a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Funny Moon.</li>
<li>West Bloodstock, Agent for Repole Stables, paid $110,000 for Hip No. 643, Amount, a son of Curlin who breezed an eighth in :10 2/5 on Thursday. Consigned by Harris Training Center LLC, Agent, the chestnut colt is a half brother to graded stakes winner Size out of Extent, by Pulpit.</li>
</ul>
<p>For the session, 155 horses sold for a total of $3,869,800, compared with 225 grossing $7,719,700 at last year's second session. The average was $24,966 compared with $34,310 a year ago, while the median price was $13,000, compared to $17,500 in 2019. The buyback percentage was 25.7 percent; it was 17.3 percent last year.</p>
<p>The July Sale continues Thursday at 10 a.m. Hip No.'s 721 – 1114 will be offered.</p>

<p>For the session, 147 horses grossed $4,788,800, compared with 204 selling for a total of $6,119,500 at last year's first session. The average was $32,577 compared with $29,998 a year ago, while the median price was $13,000, compared to $17,500 in 2019. The buyback percentage was 32.6 percent; it was 22.4 percent last year.</p>
<p>The July Sale continues Wednesday at 10 a.m. Hip No.'s 361 – 720 will be offered.</p>

Sales, Agent, sped a quarter in :20 3/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at the sixth and final session of the under tack show for <a href="http://www.obssales.com/" class="blue-link">Ocala Breeders' Sales</a> Company's 2020 July Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age.</p>
<p>The dark bay or brown filly is out of Up for Grabs, by <a href="http://claibornefarm.com/stallions/first-samurai/" class="blue-link">First Samurai</a>, from the family of graded stakes winner Love That Jazz.</p>
<p>Hip No. 983, a son of <a href="http://www.sequelnewyork.com/laoban/" class="blue-link">Laoban</a> consigned by Coastal Equine LLC (Jesse Hoppel), Agent, turned in the session's fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :9 4/5. The bay colt is out of One Look, by Henny Hughes, a half-sister to graded stakes placed Before You Know It.</p>
<p>Two horses shared honors for the fastest three-eighths, clocked in :33 flat.</p>

<li>Hip No. 938, a 2-year-old dark bay or brown colt by Protonico consigned by Whitman Sales LLC, Agent, is out of Mongolian Changa, by Brilliant Speed, from the family of Grade 1 winner High Yield.</li>
<li>Hip No. 992, Chambers Creek, a 3-year-old bay filly by <a href="http://www.spendthriftfarm.com/horses/goldencents.html" class="blue-link">Goldencents</a> consigned by Bobby Dodd, Agent, is out of Secret Song, by Dunkirk, from the family of graded stakes placed stakes winner Honolua Storm.</li>

<p>A pair of youngsters worked quarters in :21 1/5.</p>

<li>Hip No. 960, a bay filly by Mshawish consigned by Six K's Training &amp; Sales LLC, Agent, is out of Nanybelle, by Bellamy Road, a daughter of Grade 1-winning <a href="http://www.obssales.com/" class="blue-link">OBS</a> graduate Nany's Sweep.</li>

<li>Hip No. 913, a chestnut filly by Congrats consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent, is out of Ministrone, by Forestry, a full-sister to stakes winner Forest Attack and a half sister to champion Riboletta (BRZ).</li>
<li>Hip No. 1022, a chestnut filly by <a href="http://www.darbydan.com/horses/tapiture.html" class="blue-link">Tapiture</a> consigned by Q Bar J Thoroughbreds LLC, Agent, is out of Splendid Honor, by Double Honor, a half-sister to graded stakes placed stakes winning OBS graduate Crusader's Poetry.</li>
<li>Hip No. 1023, also consigned by Q Bar J Thoroughbreds, is a bay filly by <a href="https://www.threechimneys.com/horses/palace-malice.html" class="blue-link">Palace Malice</a> out of Summer Rendezvous, by Forest Wildcat, a half-sister to graded stakes winner Summer Applause.</li>
<li>Hip No. 1027, a dark bay or brown colt by Distorted Humor consigned by McKathan Bros. Sales, Agent, is out of Tizacity, by Tizway, a daughter of stakes winner Vindy City.</li>
<li>Hip No. 1035, a bay colt by <a href="http://claibornefarm.com/stallions/orb-2/" class="blue-link">Orb</a> consigned by All In Sales (Tony Bowling), Agent, is a half-brother to Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile winner Tapizar out of Winning Call, by Deputy Minister.</li>

<p>The July Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age begins Tuesday, July 14 with Hip No's 1- 360. Hip No's 361- 720 will be offered Wednesday and Hip No.'s 721- 1114 will sell on Thursday.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The catalog for the <a href="http://www.obssales.com/" class="blue-link">Ocala Breeders' Sales</a> Company's 2020 July Sale of 2-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age is now available via the <a href="http://www.obssales.com/" class="blue-link">OBS</a> website at obssales.com. Supplemental entries are being accepted until June 19.</p>
<p>There are 988 2-year-olds and 12 older horses cataloged for the three-day sale, rescheduled from its original June dates, with all sessions beginning at 10 a.m. Hip No.'s 1 – 360 will sell on Tuesday, July 14;  Hip No.'s 361 – 720 will be offered on Wednesday, July 15 and Hip No.'s 721 – 1003 plus supplements will sell on Thursday, July 16.</p>
<p>There are six under tack sessions. Hip No.'s 1 – 180 will go to the track on Monday, July 6, Hip No.'s 181 – 360 will work on Tuesday, July 7, Hip No.'s 361 – 540 will breeze on Wednesday, July 8, Hip No.'s 541 – 720 work on Thursday, July 9, Hip No.'s 721 – 900 will breeze on Friday, July 10 and Hip No.'s 901 – 1003 plus supplements will go on Saturday, July 11. All under tack sessions begin at 7:30 a.m.</p>

<p>The under tack show and sale will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN and BloodHorse websites.</p>
<p>OBS will again offer online bidding during the July Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS bidding screen with their credentials. <p>The online catalog's main page contains a link to a sortable master index providing searchable pedigree and consignor information as well as access to pedigree updates occurring since the catalog was printed.</p>
<p>The sortable master index has been updated with advanced search and filter capability and to allow shortlist creation. A link to instructions for using the new features can be found in the index header and a step by step tutorial is available in the index as well.</p>
<p>The iPad version of the catalog can be accessed via the equineline Sales Catalog App. The App allows users to download and view the catalog, receive updates and results, record notes and also provides innovative search, sort and rating capability.
