Ardad also had 12 winners prior to Royal Ascot, a record for a British freshman sire. This year he bred 156 mares, and at the 2021 yearling sales, he boasts a 100% clearance rate for 30 sold from 30 offered. They averaged £56,000 and his highest price was 190,000gns.
